Heather Adams emailed me that our check was ready, from last month’s Monday 10% non-profit program. So here is Ryan, assistant manager, presenting Collegiate Peaks TU with a check for $601, which represents 10% of their sales that day. I hope everyone had a good time Sept. 9th, as this was an opportunity for our membership to get together and visit with each other over some good food and drink! I am working on a date for next year, sometime in Sept. again. I encourage our chapter membership to support this local business, and their great program of giving back to our local non-profits every Monday. I might add that Bryan is a member of CPC, he and Heather are part owners of Moonlight Pizza, and he is also the head brewer (I love their beer).

As we approach the end of the year, we are wrapping up our annual fundraising campaign. If you have been thinking of supporting your TU chapter and our great mission, and haven’t taken action yet, this is the last time I will ask you to get out your checkbook. A big shout out to all of you that have, and we will recognize you in next month’s Mountain Mail ad in the paper! Please mail your contribution to CPC-TU, P.O.Box 1081, Salida, CO 81201.
