Collegiate Peaks Chapter of Trout Unlimited (CPC-TU) in collaboration with the Greater Arkansas River Nature Association (GARNA) and the Central Colorado Conservancy (CCC) will bring Robert Randall, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, to Salida on Thursday, September 13, for a presentation entitled “Climate Changes & Colorado’s Water Plan:  How is the state of Colorado planning for anticipated impacts?”

Randall will discuss state efforts to address the challenges posed by climate variability and change as well as Colorado’s long-term water planning efforts.

The presentation will be held in the Steam Plant Ballroom with a social hour beginning at 6:00 p.m. and the presentations following at 7:00 p.m.  Prior to the featured speaker, representative of GARNA and CCC will make short statements about their organizations followed by a brief presentation from the participants in the 2018 Trout Unlimited “Conservation and Fly-Fishing Camp” for which CPC-TU paid the tuition.

A wine and beer cash bar along with free popcorn and cookies will be provided.  The event is free and open to the public with donations accepted at the door.
